I recently had a very challenging project for the Southampton County Historical Society,(SHCHS).
The SHCHS had a rare copy of a 1955 news paper. The Golden Anniversary Historical Edition 1905-1955, published by the Tidewater News. The paper was over 100 pages and in a very frangible state. The SHCHS wanted to have the entire paper scanned in a format that would be easy for researchers to access the information. And not to damage the original paper. I contacted Hampton Roads Giclee, and talked with Kristine. She was able to provide a very competitive quote for the job and provide a proof to review before they started the final job. The entire project was professional and the final product was outstanding quality in a very timely fashion. I would highly recommend Hampton Roads Giclee to anyone who has valuable documents that you need to protect for many decades to come.
